What I have learned so far

So far from this practicum I have learned that when working with students showing that you care and showing that you want to see them enjoying themselves makes them feel more motivated to do well and put in effort. I also learned how to deal with students who are giving you a hard time by not reacting right away to their behaviour that does not seem ideal for that moment, by taking a moment to collect your thoughts first is often how you can go forward with the best way to handle a situation.

The difference between this project vs others

THe difference between this project verses others is that I get to talk about my experiences and what I do in a format that is easy to access and read. I also get to read my peers aswell, and in a similar format.

I organized by keeping a list of my tasks, checking in with mentor consistently to make sure things were going the way that she instructed, and using a planner.
